Peter brings over a decade of government affairs and lobbying experience on complex legislative issues across Colorado. Being born and raised in Denver, Peter cares deeply about his community and ensuring it remains strong for future generations.
In addition to his work with WKC, Peter serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the largest local Realtor Association in Colorado with 8,500 members. Peter prides himself most on developing meaningful relationships with local elected officials and decision makers at all levels.
Volunteerism is at Peter’s core. In 2017, Peter was the Rookie of the Year for the Denver Children’s Foundation, which aims to develop philanthropic leaders that impact the lives of disadvantaged children. During his five years with DCF, Peter has raised over $150,000 for at-risk youth across the Denver Metro Area. In his spare time, you’ll find Peter on the golf course or spending time with his fiancé Taylor and their dog Finn.

Having lived in Denver for more than 20 years, Austin has immense gratitude for the opportunities Colorado has provided him and his family. This deep sense of appreciation has translated to his work in both the commercial real estate and policy sectors where he’s demonstrated a strong commitment to creating prosperous, equitable communities.
Austin is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s (DDP) Denver Civic Ventures Board and was recognized as a “Downtown Champion” by the organization in 2021. He is a former chair of the DDP Business Improvement District Board, spearheading its 10-year renewal in 2021. Austin has formerly served as President of the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR) and is an active member of Urban Land Institute’s Office and Industrial Product Council. Austin has volunteered at organizations across the state including the Greenway Foundation, St. Francis Center, Project C.U.R.E., Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity, to name a few.

Our business development efforts have helped clients secure nearly $1 billion in public/private sector work including 16th Street Mall and numerous projects at Denver International Airport. We successfully led the approvals of recreational marijuana in Lakewood, Littleton and Buena Vista and have assisted one of the nation’s largest telecom providers with their 5G deployment.
